Z-Command GX1 runs embedded Windows operating system with Z-Command pre-installed. The device has a single Z-Command license. Neither the license nor the Z-Command software can be transferred from the device.

Z-Command software download is license per PC. The license is can be moved from one PC to another a maximum of 5 times. Major hardware changes such as a motherboard or network adapter replacement will necessitate a license move. The license cannot be transferred from one person to another. Just as with the GX1 one Z-Command license is for one PC at any point in time.

Software update is provided on a subscription basis. The software update subscription fee is $99/year (this rate can change). The first year's subscription after purchase is free.
