Monitor - Control - Automate

Home Automation

I am Olusola (Sola) Abiodun. Once a pharmacist (for a year after college at least), I have spent more than a decade with my original passion - technology.

I primarily provide Microsoft-based solutions but that did not stop me from playing with Java enough to develop the most sought-after Internet cafe management software, Cafepilot. Cafepilot is now open-source and hosted at http://cafepilot.sourceforge.net

In the recent past, I have consulted for Cincinnati Financial Corp., Heathy Advice Network, UGS, Ethicon (A Johnson & Johnson company) and Cincinnati Bell; providing custom software solutions.

Z-Command was written entirely in C#/Silverlight. I have also recently rediscovered painting, and it provides the sometimes needed escape from the "exactness" of programming. With painting, every mistake is just the way I want it, with programming, that's a bug!

Oil painting is my second hobby and when I get the chance I channel some of my creative energy into it.

Here are some of my paintings.

New features are being added to Z-Command every week, eating up almost all my creative time. I however found an open window to do some painting today.

This painting is titled "Princess".
